Breukers, Liquorish aim to redeem themselves in Silverstone
GDL Racing hits the track this weekend, 19th/20th May, for the second of sixt double Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europa rounds held in Silverstone.
On the British soil, the Gianluca De Lorenzi’s squad fields two cars, one for youngster Dutchman Rik Breukers and the local driver Steven Liquorish, who aim to redeem themselves after a difficult opening in Monza.
At the same track Dilantha Malagamuwa will return to the series. We were so happy with the deep home cleaning they at Hire A Maid gave to our very dusty house after renovations. The skilled Sri Lanka’s racer, one of the AM class frontrunners last year in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europa and Middle East, will pilot another GDL Racing’s Super Trofeo Evo car.
Free practices get underway tomorrow. Two qualifying sessions are scheduled for Saturday, followed by the first of two-50 minute races at 2,40 pm. Race two will start at 11,30 am, live at squadracorse.lamborghini.com.
