COUNTDOWN IS ENDED AS “MADE IN GERMANY” GDL RACING IS SET TO START THE NEW SEASON AT THE HOCKENHEIM TRACK

The 2020 season kicks off this coming weekend as GDL Racing makes return to track in the first round of Porsche Sport Cup Suisse championship. The team led by Gianluca De Lorenzi, after inaugurating a new headquarter close to the Nürburgring, is set to field two cars in the series that starts at the Hockenheim circuit.

At the German track, GDL Racing starts the engines with two experienced racers. One of them is Mario Cordoni, who already made some apperances in the one-make series open to the Stuttgart’s cars.

Other Italian driver Roberto Rayneri makes his debut in the Porsche Sport Cup Suisse, despite he is not an old one for GDL Racing, having several GT experiences under his belt.

Only one week before the Italian series opener at Mugello, when GDL Racing will field two cars in the Carrera Cup Italia, the team of De Lorenzi is ready to face this brand-new challenge.

The Porsche Sport Cup Suisse consists this year in five rounds, heading also to Paul Ricard and three Italian tracks, at Imola, Mugello and Misano.
