GDL joins Blancpain GT Sports with two cars
GDL team add one more series to its 2017 calendar. The Emirate-based team led by Gianluca De Lorenzi, is set to enter the Blancpain Sports Club, the Championship reverved to the AM drivers and organized by SRO Motorsports.
The GDL team will take part in five of six rounds of the season, that will be held in the same weekends of the Blancpain GT Series (three with the Endurance Cup and a same number with the Sprint Cup).
Roberto Rayneri will drive a Mercedes SLS GT3. Mario Cordoni will be at the wheel of a Lamborghini Huracán ST in the dates not clashing with the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe in which he will race too.
The first round is scheduled for this weekend at the Misano track, that hosts the only Italian round, where the Gianluca De Lorenzi’s team will aim for entering the top zone of the charts.
The other rounds are Silverstone (14 May), Paul Ricard (25 June), Spa (30 July), Hungaroring (27 August) e Barcelona (1 October).
