GDL makes its debut in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia
GDL continues its effort in several championships. After having made its debut in the Blancpain Sports Club at Misano, claiming the Super Trofeo class victory with Mario Cordoni on a Lamborghini and taking the honour of a good result with Mercedes SLS AMG GT3 driven by Roberto Rayneri, the Gianluca De Lorenzi’s team is set for the inaugural double race – out of six – of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia in Sepang.
In the one-make series open to the Huracán STs, GDL will be entering a car for Dutchman Rik Breukers, the reigning champion of the Middle East series held last February and March as well as European and World runner up in 2016. To share the wheel of a Lamborghini with him, completing a PRO-AM duo, will be the Hong Kong’s driver Nigel Farmer, who already raced for GDL in the endurance events.
GDL will also line up a second Lamborghini under the banner of Dilantha Racing by GDL for Sri Lanka’s Dilantha Malagamuwa.
