GDL RACING AIMS AT DOUBLE IN THE SECOND ROUND OF THE LAMBORGHINI SUPER TROFEO MIDDLE EAST

GDL Racing moves from Abu Dhabi to Dubai as it will be taking part in the second out of the three double rounds of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Middle East. After the brilliant success achieved last Saturday in Race 2 with 18-year-old Dutch Rik Breukers and newcomer Axcil Jefferies, 22 from Zimbawe, both fastest in the two qualifying sessions, the Gianluca De Lorenzi’s team aims at another victorious weekend by lining-up four cars.

In addition to the one of the Breukers and Jefferies front-runner duo in the PRO class under the banner of GDL Middle East, a second Huracán will be entered for the Indonesian Andrew Haryanto, who finished second and third amog the AM in Abu Dhabi.

Not particularly lucky in the first round of the series, British Steve Liquorish is determined to redeem himself also in the AM class.

Last but not least, spotlight on Italian Costantino Bertuzzi and Hong Kong’s Nigel Farmer, who claimed two victories at the Yas Marina track in the PRO-AM and finished third overall in Race 2 for X-One, the team of the former F1 driver Mimmo Schiattarella supported by GDL Racing.

The two 50-minute races will be held on Friday after the practices and Saturday.
