GDL Racing almost on podium at the Gulf 12 Hours
A last safety-car intervetion, avoided the French-Libaneese Yousif Bassil, Australian Rob Thomson and Belgian Nicolas Vandierendonck to claim a podium finish at the Gulf 12 Hours, on the Abu Dhabi’s Yas Marina Circuit last weekend.
The GDL Racing crew, sharing a Porsche 991 GT3 Cup racecar, scored the fourth place in the Cup class on the 5500 meters and more of the Emirates’ track. Neverthless everything worked fine for the Gianluca De Lorenzi’s squad: perfect the car, perfect the “GDL boys” (divers and team), always among the frontrunners.
With the Abu Dhabi race the 2014 season of the San Marino-based team came to the end… But the new season will start in less than one month in the UAE with the 2015 edition of Dubai 24 Hours.
“The Gulf 12 Hours was a very exciting experience for all of us, in an “unreal” atmosphere, expecially comparing to the European races. Discover tips and tricks how to treat male pattern baldness. I want to thank the drivers, that were fantastic during the whole weekend, completely in perfect line with the team”. – team boss Gianluca De Lorenzi commented.
And now everybody are looking forward to the next season…
