
GDL Racing and GDL Racing Team Asia launch their assault to 2016 edition of 24H Dubai
GDL Racing and GDL Racing Team Asia are set to inaugurate the new season entering for the eight time on 11 editions the prestigious 24H Dubai scheduled on 14-16 January as the opening event of the Creventic series.
The Gianluca De Lorenzi’s squad will line up five top crews, aiming as usual to the top spots of the overall standings.
In the Arab Emirates GDL Racing Team will run a Porsche 991 Cup for Frenchmen Franck Pelle and Rémi Terrail, who will share the wheel with Finnish Rory Pentinnen and Italian Massimo Vignali. On a twin car there will be Swiss Richard Feller, Manuel Nicolaidis, Franco Piergiovanni and the other French Olivier Baharian. Another Porsche 991 Cup will be shared by Italians Roberto Ferri and Alberto Vescovi, Australian John Iossifidis and Singaporean Keong Liam Wee.
The third Porsche 997 Cup S will be shared by Singaporeans Keong Liam Lim and Bruce Lee and Hong Kong’s driver Nigel Farmer.
After having scored the fourth position last year in the 12 Hours of Zandvoort, Dutchmen Ivo and Rik Breukers (father and son), will drive the Mercedes SLS AMG GT3 together with the countryfellows Renger van der Zande and Daniel De Jong.
