GDL Racing extends its participation to more international series

GDL Racing is set to 2014 season ad it extended its participation to more international series. Gianluca De Lorenzi’s squad – that recently moved its headquarter to San Marino – will enter some VLN Championship single events where it will line up two Porsche racecars as well as prestigious 24H Nürburgring scheduled for 19th-22th June, always with two cars.

After having entered seven editions of 24H Dubai – where it confirmed its entry also in 2015 – GDL Racing will take part in the 12 Hours of Zandvoort, Hungaroring and Abu Dhabi, along 24 Hours of Barcelona, in addition of more endurance races.

GDL Racing will also take part in 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps with a Mercedes SLS GT3 as well as it will line up a Porsche in the Belgian BRCC. De Lorenzi’s squad confirmed its participation in the 25 Hours of Spa with four Vw Fun Cup cars.

In Italy the San Marino-based team will entry five round of Targa Tricolore Porsche with two crews (one of them with Italia-Swiss drivers, while the other racers will be from the Emirates). Last but not least, after having claimed the 2013 GT Cup title in the Italian GT Championship, GDL Racing could also line up a car in the Aci-Csai series with an option for Mercedes SLS (GT3 Class) or Porsche 997 (GT Cup).
