GDL Racing fields three cars in the 25H Fun Cup at Spa
25H Vw Fun Cup celebrates this year the 20th edition with a 140-car starting grid. Among the most historic teams, GDL Racing couldn’t miss to enter this race for the tenth time.
At the up and down of the Belgian track, the Gianluca De Lorenzi’s squad fields three brand new cars aiming at the top spot of the charts, challenging former F1 drivers – such as legendary Jacky Ickxx and Eric van de Poele – as well as GT and Touring Car aces.
One of the GDL Racing cars is entered for an all Italian crew formed by Luciano and Francesca Linossi – father and daughter – Stefano Colombo, Lorenzo Bontempelli, Mino Caccia and Simone Niboli.
GDL Team Australia car will be shared by Australian Brett and Mall Nial, Mark Pilatti, Clint Harvey, Kiwi Darry Clarke and Finnish Rory Pentinnen.
To complete an international line up there is the GDL Team Asia car, fielded for Italian Alberto and Matteo Lunari, Dubai’s Bashar Mardini, Sri Lanka’s Dilantha Malagamuwa – who already races for GDL in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe and Asia – and Asham Silva.
The 25H Vw Fun Cup gets underway on Saturday at 4 pm. The arrival is scheduled on Sunday at 5 pm.
