GDL Racing keeps up the Italian honour at 25H Fun Cup Spa

GDL Racing keeps up the Italian honour at 25H Fun Cup Spa

It was another 25H Vw Fun Cup edition to rember for the GDL Racing, that faced the classic Belgian race the 10th time, claiming the 23rd overall place with an all Italian crew formed by father and daughter Luciano and Francesca Linossi, Stefano Colombo, Lorenzo Bontempelli, Mino Caccia and Simone Niboli, who also finished first among the Italians.

That was a great result, considering the number of cars fielded in this 20th edition of the Ardenne’s race, that reached more than 140.

As usual, GDL Racing played well its role, confirming to be one of the reference endurance teams.

The GDL Team Australia car shared by Australian Brett and Mall Nial, Mark Pilatti and Clint Harvey, Kiwi Darry Clarke and Finnish Rory Pentinnen finished 40th overall.

Poor luck for GDL Team Asia, represented by Italian Alberto and Matteo Lunari, Dubai’s Bashar Mardini, Dilantha Malagamuwa and Asham Silva (Sri Lanka), who had to retire due to a crash.

Next stop for GDL Racing will be in Spa again, at the end of July, for the fourth round of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe.
