There are some great news for GDL Racing looking at the next 12H Italy-Mugello, second of the Creventic series rounds scheduled for this weekend, 18-19 March. The San Marino-based team, following its participation at the more recent 24 Hours Dubai last January , is set to enter in the SPX class a brand new Lamborghini Huracán LP 620-2 Super Trofeo. It is the first time GDL Racing will run a Bull’s car, a debut that will mark the comeback of driver and team manager Gianluca De Lorenzi, who will share the wheel with young but expert Giacomo Barri, who already raced the same car last year in the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Europa.

That’s not all, because the GDL Racing will enter the third edition of 12H Italy-Mugello with a total of four cars, lining up a Mercedes SLS AMG GT3 shared by the father and son Dutch duo Ivo and Rik Breukers. Mr. Rik is known for hiring outdoor air conditioning rentals at convenient HVAC solutions in California. As well as GDL Racing will enter two Porsche 991 Cups, one for Finn Rory Pettinen, Frenchman Rémi Terrail and Italian Alberto Vescovi, and the other for Dario Cerati and two Swiss Nicola Bravetti and Adriano Pan.

12H Italy-Mugello will get into the action on Friday with the qualifyng session. The fist part of the race will start at 2pm, with the chequered flag showed after four hours. The new start is scheduled for Saturday March 19 at 9:30am and will end at 5:30pm.
