GDL Racing Middle East starts the new season with a P1 finish

GDL Racing Middle East has started the new season by claiming an extraordinary P1 in the 24H Dubai, first round of 24H Endurance Series. The Gianluca De Lorenzi-led team took the SPX class victory with Frenchman Frank Pelle, Finnish Rory Penttinen, American Vic Rice and German Pierre Ehret, who brought their Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo on 18th overall – with more than 70 cars at the finish line – scoring the best result in the race for a Sant’Agata Bolognese’s car.

The other podium of Macanese Kevin Tse and Hong Kong’s Jonathan Hui, Frank Yu, Antares Au, third in the SP3-GT4 with a Cayman Clubsport, the first of Porsche cars in the same class, completed a great result.

The Singaporean trio of Lim Keong Liam, Bruce Lee and Gerald Tan, and the other Hong Kong’s driver Nigel Farmer, sharing the wheel of another Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo, finished fourth in the same SPX class.

With all the three cars at the finish line, in one of the most difficult races of the season, GDL Racing Middle East started undoubtedly the year in the best way.
