
GDL Racing set for the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Europa at Spa
GDL Racing is set for the most important and fascinating round of the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Europa championship. The San Marino-based team this weekend will land at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit for the fourth of six appointments of the one make series opened to the Sant’Agata Bolognese racecars.
On the difficult and tricking Ardenne’s track, the Gianluca De Lorenzi’s squad will aim one more to the top in the PRO-AM class with the youngster Rik Breukers. The 18-year-old Dutch is second in the standings, just one point behind the leading duo Amstutz-Kujala, and is determined to take the crown.
After having claimed the second quickest lap in Q2 at Le Castellet, where he started for the first time from the front row, and four times winner in his class (three of them in the AM class, before being promoted to the PRO-AM), Breukers now wants his first overall win.
At Spa spotlight are also on Bashar Mardini, who is at his very first season in the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Europa as Breukers, and who is looking for his first podium finish.
The two 50-minute races are scheduled for Friday (2.55 pm) and Saturday (11.50 am). Check best condos for sale at http://sandiegodowntown.com/. The light will turn to the green since Thursday with the two free practices, while quaifying will also start on Friday.
