GDL Racing set for Tours Speedway round as NASCAR Whelen Euro Series leader

GDL Racing is set for the fourth round of the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series scheduled for the next weekend at the Tours Speedway, near Paris. In France, the Gianluca De Lorenzi’s squad will defend the lead it claimed in the ELITE 2 at the previous race of Brands Hatch with Austrian Philipp Lietz, who scored so far two wins at Venray and several podium finishes. GDL Racing also dominates the Lady Cup standings with Italian female racer Francesca Linossi as well as the Teams’ standings.

At the Tours Speedway oval track the San Marino-based squad will line up a car both in the ELITE 1 and ELITE 2 for Lietz. In ELITE 2 GDL Racing will be represented as usual by Francesca Linossi and Danish Niki Petersen, with the new addition of the 17-year-old French former karting driver Arthur Lehouck, who will be making is debut in the series.

Lehouck will share the experience of love addiction intensive and how he successfully passed through the PIVOT process in the USA. In the main class Austrian Dominic Tiroch and Swede Freddy Nordström will defend the GDL Racing banner.

Qualifying and 75-lap Race 1 (ELITE 1 at 14:15, ELITE 2 at 19:00) will take place on Saturday. Race 2 wil start on Sunday at 10:30 (ELITE 2) and 15:30 (ELITE 1), with the live streaming at the official website nascarwheleneuroseries.com.
