GDL RACING TAKES DOUBLE PODIUM AT GULF 12H
The 7th edition of Gulf 12H held last weekend, brought GDL Racing team another podium. This year the squad led by Gianluca De Lorenzi put two cars in the first three positions of the GTX1 class.
At the Yas Marina circuit, in Abu Dhabi, Italian Mario Cordoni – already one of the frontrunners in 2016 – Englishman Steven Liquorish and Korean Yoon Sanghwi, drove their Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo to the second place.
The other Italian Roberto Rayneri, American Jim Michaelian and Kiwi Andrew Higgins completed a perfect job too, claiming the third place with a twin car, just behind their team mates.
At the end both the crews missed the victory due to some unfortunate circumstances, fighting for the top spot since the first lap.
Anyway the De Lorenzi’s team celebrated a great seasonal end, looking forward the 2018 commitment, the first in the 24 Hours Dubai scheduled on January
