
GDL Racing team set to Gulf 12H
One week after having celebrated the NGK Racing Series debut, with the win of Singaporean Koeng Liam Lee (Mercedes Amg Sls Gt3), GDL Racing team is set to enter the Gulf 12 Hours at the Yas Marina track, in Abu Dhabi.
French-Lebanese Yousif Bassil, Australian Rob Thomson and Belgian Nicolas Vandierendonck will share in the Emirates’ race a Porsche 991 GT3 Cup racecar, aiming again to the top positions.
For the Gianluca De Lorenzi’s squad the Gulf 12 Hours represents another challenge in the endurace world, after the 24 Hours of Dubai, Nürburgring, Spa-Francorchamps, the 25H Fun Cup and the 12 Hours of Italy-Mugello.
The Gulf12 Hours is scheduled this weekend on the 5500 meters of the Grand Prix circuit, and kicks-off today with the free practices, with the qualifying sessions starting tomorrow. Saturday the race will see the green light at 9am local time.
