Risto Vukov targets top result at Imola for GDL Racing
Risto Vukov renews the bet with team GDL Racing as the Porsche Carrera Cup Italia heads to Imola that hosts this weekend the third of the seven double rounds of the season.
The Macedonian racer, who is embarking on his second full campaign in the one-make series open to the Stuttgart’s cars, aims for a top result. Following a brilliant opener at Misano, when he finished twice in the top-10, he endured a tough weekend at Mugello.
After 21 days, Vukov is now determined to rejoin the hot spot of the standings.
Actually the Macedonian has 23 points and is aiming to reduce the gap from the lead and enter the top-5.
At Imola after the Friday’s free practice sessions, qualifying and superpole will take place tomorrow ahead of the first of two 28-minute plus one lap races that starts at 17.10. Race 2 will commence on Sunday at 13.15.
