The Carrera Cup Italia Championship is set to comeback this Saturday and Sunday at Vallelunga, entering the final stage of the 2019 season. GDL Racing faces the fifth of seven rounds fielding one car for Bashar Mardini.

With six races still to be held at Vallelunga, Misano and Monza – that will host the grand-final next October, Mardini lays third in the Michelin Cup standings with 45 points, 12 less than leader Marco Cassarà.

After the Friday’s free practice, qualifying are scheduled tomorrow at 10.50, whilst race one will start at 16.50. The second of the 28-minute plus one lap races will get underway on Sunday at 12.50.
