GDL Racing makes its return to the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia that comes to the fourth out of six rounds of the season. After two consecutive Japanese races at Suzuka and Fuji and the Sepang opener last April, the Sant’Agata Bolognese one-make series heads this weekend to the 5,6 kms of the Yeongam circuit, in South Korea.

Once more the team led by Gianluca De Lorenzi fields to cars. One for the Australian racers Richard Muscat and Danny Studderd, pairing in the PRO-AM category after finishing third in Malaysia, second at Suzuka and taking the fourth overall place again at Suzuka in Race 2.

Driving another Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo Evo car fielded by GDL Racing, Monegasque Gabriele Murroni took a second place at Sepang and a third at Fuji in the Lamborghini Cup.

Both Murroni and Muscat-Studderd look for their first victory of the season, before the last two rounds in Shanghai late this month and Jerez de La Frontera, that also hosts the 2019 World Final.

Two 50-minute races will be held this weekend,  following two qualifying sessions.
